Tower DVBE is certified by the State of California as a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) and a Small Business (Micro), and by the U.S. Small Business Administration as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB). What DVBE participation means

California sets a goal that at least 3 percent of state contracting dollars go to certified Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises. When an agency or a prime contractor buys through Tower DVBE, that spend counts toward the goal — no separate paperwork on your side beyond recording our certification. We can supply certification documents, a W-9, and any vendor forms your purchasing office requires. What SDVOSB certification means

Tower Sales and Consulting is certified through the SBA's Veteran Small Business Certification program (VetCert) as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. On federal work that means two things. Federal agencies can buy from us through SDVOSB set-asides and sole-source awards. And prime contractors with a small business subcontracting plan can count what they spend with us toward their SDVOSB and VOSB subcontracting goals. SDVOSB is a federal designation and DVBE is California's. They are separate programs. Federal-aid Caltrans contracts use the DOT DBE program instead, and neither DVBE nor SDVOSB status counts toward a DBE goal. See DVBE vs DBE.
